Comment
Effective April 1, 2000, the FLBA of Ness City, assumed authority to make and participate in long-term real estate mortgage loans. The association will be known as Farm Credit of Ness City, FLCA.

Effective October 1, 2003, the Western Farm Credit Bank merged with and into the Farm Credit Bank of Wichita, the continuing bank, which will be known as U.S. AgBank, FCB. As a result of the bank merger, all active associations in the Western and Wichita districts were assigned a new district code (24).

As a result of the merger of U. S. AgBank, FCB, into CoBank, ACB on 1/1/2012, all active associations in the U. S. AgBank and CoBank districts were assigned a new district code (25).

Effective October 1, 2017, Farm Credit of Ness City, FCLA merged with and into High Plains Farm Credit, FLCA, a wholly owned subsidiary of High Plains Farm Credit, ACA, pursuant to section 7.8 of the Farm Credit Act of 1971, as amended. High Plains Farm Credit, ACA and its subsidiaries, High Plains Farm Credit, FLCA and High Plains Farm Credit, PCA, are the continuing associations. FCA cancelled the Farm Credit of Ness City, FLCA’s charter and issued updated charters to High Plains Farm Credit, ACA and its subsidiaries to reflect the expanded territories where new long-term and short-term financing can now be conducted as a result of this merger.

The existing Conditions of Approval imposed on High Plains Farm Credit and its subsidiaries, in addition to conditions imposed as a result of this merger, remain in effect. Under the Conditions of Approval, the FCA will continue to treat the parent ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as FCA considers appropriate.
