Effective July 1, 1997, the Empire Farm Credit ACA merged into the First Pioneer Farm Credit, ACA, the continuing association. Effective July 1, 1999, the St. Paul Bank for Cooperatives merged into CoBank, ACB, the continuing Bank. The CoBank District was assigned a new district number (District 21). Effective December 1, 2000, the First Pioneer Farm Credit, ACA was restructured and became the parent entity to First Pioneer Farm Credit, PCA and First Pioneer Farm Credit, FLCA. All three associations are subject to FCA Conditions of Approval, also effective 12/01/2000. Pursuant to FCA's Conditions of Approval, FCA will treat the ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as the FCA deems appropriate. As a result of the reaffiliation of Northwest Farm Credit Services, an Agricultural Credit Association with CoBank, ACB on 1/1/03, all active associations in the CoBank district (Maine, Yankee, Western New York, and First Pioneer) were assigned a new district code (23). Effective January 1, 2010, Farm Credit of Western New York, ACA, and its subsidiaries, Farm Credit of Western New York, PCA, and Farm Credit of Western New York, FLCA, merged with and into First Pioneer Farm Credit, ACA, and its subsidiaries, First Pioneer Farm Credit, PCA, and First Pioneer Farm Credit, FLCA, respectively. First Pioneer Farm Credit, ACA and its subsidiaries are the continuing associations. Concurrent with the merger, the charter and Articles of Incorporation of First Pioneer Farm Credit, ACA, First Pioneer Farm Credit, PCA, and First Pioneer Farm Credit, FLCA, were amended so that the names of the continuing associations shall be Farm Credit East, ACA, Farm Credit East, PCA, and Farm Credit East, FLCA, respectively. Farm Credit East and its subsidiaries are subject to FCA Conditions of Approval, which took effect on January 1, 2010. Under FCA’s Conditions of Approval, FCA will continue to treat the continuing ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as FCA considers appropriate. The FCA canceled the charters of Farm Credit of Western New York, ACA, Farm Credit of Western New York, PCA, and Farm Credit of Western New York, FLCA, on January 1, 2010. As a result of the merger of U. S. AgBank, FCB, into CoBank, ACB on 1/1/2012, all active associations in the CoBank district were assigned a new district code (25). Effective January 1, 2014, Farm Credit of Maine, ACA, and its subsidiaries, Farm Credit of Maine, PCA, and Farm Credit of Maine, FLCA, merged with and into Farm Credit East, ACA, and its subsidiaries, Farm Credit East, PCA, and Farm Credit East, FLCA, respectively. Farm Credit East, ACA, and its subsidiaries are the continuing associations. The Conditions of Approval previously imposed on Farm Credit East, ACA, and its subsidiaries remain in effect. Effective January 1, 2022, Yankee Farm Credit, ACA, and its subsidiaries, Yankee Farm Credit, PCA and Yankee Farm Credit, FLCA merged with and into Farm Credit East, ACA and its subsidiaries Farm Credit East, PCA and Farm Credit East, FLCA, respectively, pursuant to section 7.8 of the Farm Credit Act of 1971, as amended. Farm Credit East, ACA, and its subsidiaries are the continuing associations. The Conditions of Approval previously imposed on Farm Credit East, ACA, and its subsidiaries remain in effect. Under the Conditions of Approval, the FCA will continue to treat the parent ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as FCA considers appropriate.
