Effective January 1, 2001, the Federal Land Bank Association of South Texas, FLCA, Capital Farm Credit, FLCA and Heart of Texas Production Credit Association consolidated to form Capital Farm Credit, ACA. Also, the FLBA of South Texas, FLCA merged into Capital Farm Credit, FLCA. The charter for Capital Farm Credit, FLCA was amended to make it a subsidiary of the ACA. The charter for Heart of Texas, PCA was amended to change its name to Capital Farm Credit, PCA and to make it a subsidiary of the ACA. Pursuant to FCA's Conditions of Approval, FCA will treat the ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as the FCA deems appropriate.

Effective October 1, 2006, Southwest Texas ACA and its subsidiaries, Southwest Texas PCA and Southwest Texas Federal Land Bank Association, FLCA merged into Capital Farm Credit, ACA and its subsidiaries, Capital Farm Credit, PCA and Capital Farm Credit, FLCA, respectively. The FCA canceled the charters of Southwest Texas ACA, Southwest Texas PCA, and Southwest Texas Federal Land Bank Association, FLCA on October 1, 2006. Capital Farm Credit, ACA, and its subsidiaries, Capital Farm Credit PCA and Capital Farm Credit, FLCA are the continuing associations and remain subject to FCA Conditions of Approval, which took effect January 1, 2001. Under FCA’s Conditions of Approval, FCA will continue to treat the continuing ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as FCA deems appropriate.

Effective October 1, 2008, First Ag Credit, FCS and its subsidiaries, First Ag Credit, PCA, and First Ag Credit, FLCA, merged with and into Capital Farm Credit, ACA, and its subsidiaries, Capital Farm Credit, PCA, and Capital Farm Credit, FLCA, respectively. The FCA canceled the charters of First Ag Credit, FCS, First Ag Credit, PCA, and First Ag Credit, FLCA on October 1, 2008. Capital Farm Credit, ACA, and its subsidiaries, Capital Farm Credit, PCA, and Capital Farm Credit, FLCA, are the continuing associations and remain subject to FCA Conditions of Approval, which took effect January 1, 2001. Effective September 1, 2024, the charters for Capital Farm Credit, ACA, and its subsidiaries Capital Farm Credit, PCA, and Capital Farm Credit, FLCA, which are affiliated with the Farm Credit Bank of Texas, were amended so the headquarters shall be in the City of College Station, County of Brazos, State of Texas.
