In the State of New Mexico, in all Counties except San Juan County, the lending authorities granted under Title I of the Act, and in the Counties of Chaves, Dona Ana, Eddy, Grant, Hidalgo, Lea, Lincoln, Luna, Otero, and Sierra, the lending authorities granted under Title II of the Act. Notwithstanding any language contained herein, the Association may exercise any lending authority otherwise authorized under the Act or regulations of the Farm Credit Administration.

Effective January 1, 2001, Farm Credit of New Mexico, FLCA and Production Credit Association of Southern New Mexico consolidated to form Farm Credit of New Mexico, ACA. The charters for Farm Credit of New Mexico, FLCA and Production Credit Association of Southern New Mexico were amended and restated to make them subsidiaries of Farm Credit of New Mexico, ACA. Pursuant to FCA's Conditions of Approval, FCA will treat the ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as the FCA deems appropriate.

Effective October 1, 2003, the Western Farm Credit Bank merged with and into the Farm Credit Bank of Wichita, the continuing bank, which will be known as U.S. AgBank, FCB. As a result of the bank merger, all active associations in the Western and Wichita districts were assigned a new district code (24).

As a result of the merger of U. S. AgBank, FCB, into CoBank, ACB on 1/1/2012, all active associations in the U. S. AgBank and CoBank districts were assigned a new district code (25).

Effective October 1, 2023, Farm Credit of New Mexico, ACA, and its subsidiaries, Production Credit Association of Southern New Mexico, and Farm Credit of New Mexico, FLCA, merged with and into American AgCredit, ACA, and its subsidiaries, American AgCredit, PCA, and American AgCredit, FLCA, respectively, pursuant to section 7.8 of the Farm Credit Act of 1971, as amended. American AgCredit, ACA, and its subsidiaries are the continuing associations.
