Effective April 1, 2001, the Production Credit Association of Southeast Missouri and Federal Land Bank Association of Southeast Missouri, FLCA consolidated under section 7.8 of the Farm Credit Act of 1971, as amended, to form Progressive Farm Credit Services, ACA. The charter for the PCA was amended to change it name to Progressive Farm Credit Services, PCA and to make it a subsidiary of Progressive Farm Credit Services, ACA. Also the charter for the FLCA was amended to change its name to Progressive Farm Credit Services, FLCA and make it a subsidiary of the ACA. All operate under Conditions of Approval. Pursuant to FCA's Conditions of Approval, FCA will treat the ACA and its subsidiary associations on a consolidated basis for regulatory purposes as the FCA deems appropriate.

As a result of the merger of AgAmerica, FCB, into AgriBank, FCB (AgriBank), on 1/1/03, all active associations in the AgriBank district were assigned a new district code (22).

Effective January 1, 2018, Progressive Farm Credit Services, ACA and its subsidiaries (FLCA and PCA) changed its name to Farm Credit Southeast Missouri, ACA; Farm Credit Southeast Missouri, FLCA; and Farm Credit Southeast Missouri, PCA, respectively.
